I'm gonna pull you in close, gonna wrap you up tight...

Space Gallery, August 9th, 2008

The mad prep was taking place for Megan and Chris' wedding!

That's Stephanie! You might recognize her; she owns and runs Pandora Gifts!
She and I were the grease that made the wedding wheels roll!

We hustled the wedding party up into the loft to cool down and collect themselves before the wedding commenced!

Handsome and lovely, the whole lot of them!

This space was so perfect and gorgeous! The walls were adorned with beautiful pieces of art!

The peeps started to filter in...

Chris rolled down, all suave like, he was cool as a cucumber!

Then they sent down these sweet little baby flower girls! I don't know if you can see it, but the littlest one lost her shoe as they were navigating these insane stairs. She was seriously the most adorable thing ever!

The bride was a vision! Was she not!?

Her Pops, Bill, was taken by his own daughter's loveliness!

Getting down to business.

Some rings were exchanged, there was a smooch...actually, maybe two smooches...

And they were finally Mr. and Mrs. Chris Quinn!

The Bride and Groom foolishly put all us hellions together for the reception.
Rex and Kel got comfortable with some whiskey cokes and vodka crans.

The mariachi band started up! They were all so good looking and talented!

This is a rare sight...Sam and TJ!

Shannon brought her fiance Russell. Russell calls me Evil Becky. I suppose the moniker could be accurate...

Chris made the rounds!

This triptych of Mike and Micaela properly defines their relationship!

Kel and Spencer were thick as thieves all night long. Plotting and conspiring, no doubt...

As per our DenvCO family tradition, we demanded that Chris and Meg kiss throughout the cocktail hour and dinner too!

Baby S is the best date for a wedding. He brings Tea Tree Oil Blotting Papers - he always helps a lady look her best!

It's hard to capture Douglet and Steph in a tender moment...

They're hams...the sweetest honey baked hams you've ever met!

The wedding party!

When Shannon's not rippin' the bass and singing her guts out for The Swindlers (new album out - check pg. 76 of the most recent Westword for a review)...she plays a mean Corona bottle castanet!

Old What's Her Name and I took a candid shot.

Playing hard to get.

First dance.

Dapper as can be, Chris thrilled me when he told me that the wedding dance mixed contained "No Name, No Slogan" by Acid Horse!
He's from Chicago, duh!

Sweet Mic beckoning from the dance floor...

Sadly, Baby S and Kel stayed on the sidelines checkin' the scene.

I'm usually opposed to conga lines, but this one was too lovely not to photograph!

Meg was just breathtaking!
I caught TJ in a super serious get down on Sam. He appears unenthused.

And finally, I had the honor of a slow dance with the groom at the end of the night...and then I slipped out the door and headed for home...

Here's to new adventures and loving journeys, Chris and Meg!

Amidst all the loveliness of a beautiful wedding, there's TJ grinding Sam. I almost peed my pants!

Pass on my congratulations to Meg and Chris and may I see many pictures of Meg grinding Chris on the dance floor for years to come!
