When we played in LA a few years ago, the singer from The Bronx and some other joker showed up in homemade Lazerwolfs t-shirts and rocked out for the whole show (they were about 80% of the crowd that night). That was pretty cool. They didn't do it because they knew of us ahead of time, mind you -- they just looked in the paper and thought it was a funny name.
Interesting...I just watched an episode of This American Life about something like that.
This performance art troop picked a band that was playing in NYC, learned all their song, made t-shirts, and showed up en masse...rocked out to all their songs and behaved like it was the best show they'd ever been to. When the show was over they all, en masse, left. The repercussions of their "prank"...were sort of heart breaking and compelling.

Interestingly, Spencer calls This American Life...porn for nerdy girls. And I can't dispute that he's right...
Wow, that's interesting. These guys didn't do that, at least. They stuck around and drank with us. It was fun.
I'm glad you like the band name. I HATE it. Hate it more with every passing year. I'm happy our most recent album was such a pile so that it gives me leverage to change the name and start over. Or just quit.
Change is good. I encourage you to do something different, although I have to admit...I'm a little bummed I can't make it to that Judas Priest cover show.
