It's a way to show the neighborhood you live in who you are. Similar to writing a memoir, but for a different kind of artist. Instead of being a nameless person in a busy place, people can see you. It's an expression of voice for someone who would otherwise feel invisible.
And, it makes the city a beautiful place!
